The hotel is perfectly located. You are able to walk to the shops, see a Fado show across the street, walk down to the river and have a wonderful selection of restaurants on the street or within walking distance. My travel companion and I walked to everything even the Sao Bento train station which is about 7 minutes away. My room was modern industrial. There was ample light, nice local products in the bathroom, a nice thoughtful selection of grooming items as well in the bathroom and a comfortable bed. I also loved the branded towels. Housekeeping always left my room organized and clean. There were also treats left and water. Even though my room faced the street, it was not noisy and I was able to sleep well each night. There wasn't a lot of variety on the television, but I was able to find a few English speaking shows and even old episodes of Dallas, which was a treat. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful variety of fruits, meats, pastries, and juices. I tried something new each morning. The staff in the restaurant was always welcoming. Check in was organized and we were given a short information session about breakfast times and how to access our rooms. The hotel always smelled lovely each time we entered. Even though the hotel is located in the middle of a hilly street, it was manageable. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again the next time I visit Porto.

Warm welcome, very good location, nice and helpful staff, good breakfast with delicious local food (the fresh cheese and pasteis de nata are amazing) and some vegetarian options like tapenade (really good), hummus, soy milk, etc., comfortable beds, great shower, clean. The hotel smells like a spa 🫠 and my room had automatic window curtains. Nice selection of toiletries.

The hotel is incredibly well situated. It is within walking distance to the water and major sites like the Stock Exchange Palace. The staff is so helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and even let us check in early as our room was ready.

Property is very well located near the river beside the main bridge in the town. It’s is within easy walking distance of everything you need to see albeit Porto is a very hilly centre. The interior is very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very excellent. Staff are ultra helpful and friendly.

Great hotel with an excellent location — just 2 minutes from the river and the Ponte Luís I bridge. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were cleaned daily. Cleanliness and comfort were at a high level, and the design of the hotel and rooms was pleasing: quality furniture, toiletries, and bedding. The sound insulation was excellent, allowing for a peaceful rest. The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty. For longer stays, a bit more variety would be appreciated. We were aware in advance that the hotel doesn’t offer on-site parking, so it wasn’t an issue for us. We would like to inform future guests that there are two parking options near the hotel: the outdoor parking lot Parque de estacionamento Alfândega (no spaces were available in August, but the prices are reasonable) and the underground parking Parque de estacionamento Saba Ribeira, where the daily parking fee is around €96. For the following days, we used the iPark Bonjardim/Bolhão parking, which is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. It is a new, comfortable underground parking lot, with a daily rate of about €35.

Amazing location and beautiful helpful and friendly staff. We could not find a fault in anything. Beautifully appointed rooms with quality bedding on a big comfortable bed and everything so clean. Anything you needed was made available including a kettle etc in our room. Lovely bathroom hood shower pressure. The location was great & allowed us to explore all the major sites by foot. Nice variety at breakfast buffet. Staff did a great job spreading guests around the available areas when the breakfast area was too crowded. The hotel felt very charming and luxurious The best feature is the lovely staff We loved our stay here.

Central location in old Porto, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, an abundance of local dining options and a nice breakfast option make Duplo Ribeira a solid choice for a short visit.

Excellent location in the heart of Ribeira district with the river, the Luis bridge and many restaurants, cafes, bars and attractions nearby. The hotel itself is located on a taxi only one way road making it reasonably quiet considering it is a very popular and busy area generally. The room was very clean and comfortable with very effective double glazing and sound proofing - no external noise in the room or hotel. The staff, particularly front desk, were polite, friendly and efficient and spoke fluent English. Breakfast was good with plenty of fresh fruit, cereals and coffee but we felt that the pastries and hot food offering could be improved a little to make it exceptional. However that would not prevent us from staying at the hotel another time and we would recommend it to friends and family. Gluten free and lactose free offerings were readily available which was much appreciated by our friend.
